9 days before departure.

Today I did a walk in a small mountain (very small, First summit 413 m and second one 381 m), but still, did 2 summits, 9.7km going up & down in 2 and a half hour, good pace :D, with my daypack loaded as I expect it to be loaded during the Kilimanjaro climbing (2 liters of water in the Camelback, various stuff…).

The weather was tempting (-4 celcius, sunny most of the time) and the goal was to test some of my gears and myself, both survived successfully !

It started the wrong way with a strong pain in my left foot, but after adjustments in the boot to uncompress my foot this was fixed. Took the opportunity to caliber the altimeter of my Garmin Oregon 400T 3-Inch Touchscreen Handheld GPS Unit with Preloaded Topographic Maps
based on the indications from the park.

Globally this went very well, feel strong and confident 😀
